About the position
Council’s Sustainable Asset Department is looking for an Asset Information Officer.
The main responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring accuracy and integrity of Council’s asset data and information
- Ensuring integration of asset data with Council’s Geographic Information System.
This is a permanent full time position.
About you
- Tertiary qualification relevant to the position (e.g. Bachelor of Science, Engineering, Information Management, etc.) or proven relevant experience in GIS/asset management in Local Government.
- Experience in asset data management, data collection, maintenance and analysis.
- Experience with Asset Management Information Systems (AMIS).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work as both a member of a team and in an unsupervised capacity.
- Experience in dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence.

This position is a Band 5 currently remunerated at $80,750.44 per annum, plus superannuation. Overtime will also be paid as required.
